A Perth gamer asked us to build a new gaming PC in a pink Hyte Y70 Touch case. Their older computer came into the workshop at the same time for a fresh Windows install and a clean-out, so both machines went home set up and ready to use.

Why the setup matters as much as the build
A new gaming PC isn't finished when the last cable is tied down. Windows needs the right drivers for the exact parts inside, and the services and companion apps that come with those parts need setting up too. Skip that step and you can end up with lighting that won't sync, monitoring tools that don't work or a graphics card running on a generic driver.
Doing the old computer at the same time made sense as well. A clean Windows install clears out years of leftover software, and removing the dust helps the fans and heatsinks do their job. It's an easy way to give an older PC a second life as a spare or a family computer.
